Do you Know How to Get Your Mail As a Fulltimer?

The time is right now to live out your dream and become a full time RVer.  The challenge starts with putting your information together to begin this journey.  Figuring out what to do with the mail is a common problem that new RVers face..  You may think obtaining a mail box at any local post office is the perfect solution, but that will not always be the case. While the post office in your home base may be great for some things, some problems may exist.

For instance, if you have something shipped to you by Fed Ex, UPS, or DPS, you may encounter problems since the post office will only hold items shipped via USPS.  The most coventient thing to do woud be to go to Postal Depot orMyRVMail a commercial mail service center and rent a mailbox.  The centers are fully staffed to take care all of your mail, as well as the ability to forward it to any place you maybe. If you plan ahead, you can get your forwarded mail to be shipped to the post office of the town you will be in.  It will generally take three or four days, so if you want to get your mail as soon as you arrive in a city, make sure you plan accordingly.

If it doesn’t matter to you, and you know you will be in one spot for awhile then any local post office will be able to help you in getting your mail.If you would like to know more about forwarding your mail with a mail center here’s a link you can check out.  Make sure to plan ahead, simply because you are living life on the open road it doesn’t mean that you won’t have bills or checks that need to be received.  What do you do for your mail while full timing?  Make sure to leave me a comment and let me know, or let me know if you have any questions.

This is my dream! I would love to own a RV and travel around. I will be retiring soon and selling my business http://www.bentontowing.com and hopefully the money I make off of my business will be enough to buy a RV. We will probably just set up a P.O. Box to receive our mail, that will probably be the most convenient. MyRVmail sounds good to so the wife can still order off of Amazon! lol
