PPL Motorhomes: Achieve “Total Balance” With A Light Trailer Stabilizer

This blog entry really is for those with light trailers, like some of the ones we have on consignment here at PPL Motorhomes. Keep in mind that the video contained in this blog contains products specifically designed for light trailers and pop-ups. If you have a larger Texas trailer or Fifth-Wheel, we have alternated tire chocks for you to consider.

Tire Chocks are designed to balance, level and stabilize your trailer. If you are new to RVing, you’ll quickly find out that an unbalanced trailer is uncomfortable and can be dangerous. Take a look at the video below with Boyd McMakin as he explains what tire chocks are and what they do.

The bottom line is that tire chocks prevent single axle trailers from rolling and greatly improves stability. The center square bar can be turned by hand or wrench, moving chocks closer together for locking around tire or further apart for removal. The particular ones in the video are lightweight, easy to store and have a rust-inhibiting coating for long life.

If you have any questions about the importance of leveling and balancing your trailer, don’t hesitate to call PPL Motorhomes. I have no doubt that we will have the appropriate product to make your RVing adventure, easier.
